Karen Marek has performed in Halifax, Montreal, Phoenix, Boston, New York and the Bay Area. She was a founding member of Berkeley’s Theatre of the Blue Rose and co-founded 21st century theatre in Montreal, as well as Theatre Redux in Boston. After performing in dramatic and musical plays including classical and original work, and directing traditional theatre she began exploring experimental forms of collaboratively devised performance including site-specific work. |
James Mulligan is a San Francisco based designer and director. His designs have been seen at Magic Theatre, the conservatory at ACT, a Traveling Jewish Theatre, Exit Theatre, Crowded Fire Theatre Company as well as many others in SF, Boston, and Prague. Rafal Klopotowski, a native of Poland, graduated from Polish Film University in Lodz in 1981. After moving to California he directed many traditional plays, musicals and operas. In 1993 he joined the UCLA theatre department and earned his MFA in 1996. After an internship with the Dutch experimental site-specific theatre company Dogtroep, Rafal returned to California and directed a number of productions using the creative, collaborative method he developed in Holland. |
